19 June 2007: Barringer Hill
The attendance at last night's sprints was down, a little, from last week, possibly due to the rain earlier in the day. Still, the temperature was pretty good although it was somewhat muggy. None the less, we still had a few new comers as well as several people who had gone out in groups who went out solo. Dan Mattingly dominated the course once again. He ran the 1.9km course in 14:05, over 3 minutes faster than the second place finisher, Shelley Pennington. Third place went to Doug Keefe. He and his wife, Diana, ran the course solo, their first solo attempt. Diana finished 5th overall. Several of the high school boys who ran their first solo had nice times including Josh Underwood-Crain finished 8th overall with a time of 26:01. Louie Smith Women 1. Shelley Pennington 17:15 2.
