Bernheim Forest
     Take I-65 South to Bardstown/Clermont (Hwy 245) exit #112. Turn east towards Bardstown and continue for about 1-2 miles. Park entrance is on the right.

Camp Stem Girl Scout Camp
     Cross the Ohio River from Louisville on the I-64 bridge. Take the first exit into New Albany. Take the first right onto Washington St. Go three blocks and take a Right onto Indiana Hwy. 111. Follow this out of town. This road bends left just outside town, crosses a rail road track and then continues along side the river. Travel 11 miles, past the riverboat, until you get to Hwy. 211 on the right. Go up the big hill and continue on for 2 miles. 211 ends at Hwy. 11. Turn left on Hwy. 11. After 2 miles you will come to Elizabeth, IN and Hwy. 11 will turn left. Go another 11 miles and you will arrive in Laconia. Go through the stop sign in Laconia and follow the signs to the Girl Scout camp.

Cherokee Park
     From I-64, take the Grinstead Dr exit and then turn (left if coming from I-64W, or right if coming from I-64E) onto Grinstead Dr. Take a left (almost immediately) at the light onto Lexington Rd. Take the next right into the park. The road will eventually turn into a one-way scenic loop. Follow this loop to the top of the second hill to Hogan's Fountain.

     From I-65, take the exit for Eastern Pkwy and follow it to the east over Bardstown Rd until it "dead ends" at a traffic circle at the entrance to the park. Go "straight" through the traffic circle and get on the one-way scenic loop. Hogan's Fountain will be at the top of the next hill.

Deam Lake
     From Louisville, take I-65 North. Take the Salem exit and go west on Hwy 60. Follow this road about 14 miles. You will cross a rail road track and the road will reach an intersection and continue right. The road to the recreation area is on the right. Meet HQ is usually at Buzzards Roost just inside the park entrance.

E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park
     From the Gene Snyder Expressway (I-265), take Westport Rd. (exit 32) and head West. This exit is between I-71 & I-64. After about 1/2 mile, turn Left onto Frey's Hill Rd. The park entrance is on the Right about 1/2 mile.

German Ridge
     From north Louisville, take I-64 west to Hwy 37. Take 37 south to Hwy 70. Go east on 70 to Hwy 66. Follow 66 south and then west. The road to German Ridge is on the right and the entrance to the site will be on the left about one mile.

From the south western end of Louisville, take Hwy 31W south to Ft. Knox. Turn right onto Hwy 60 and go to Hawesville. Cross the Ohio at Hawesville into Cannelton and then take Hwy 66 East. The road to German Ridge is on the left and the entrance to the site is on the left about one mile.

Harry S. Frazier Jr. Scout Reservation
     From Louisville, take I-65 South to the Clermont & Bardstown Junction (State Hwy. 245, exit 112 - Bernheim Forest is on this exit). Turn left on Hwy. 245 and proceed almost one mile to Meadow Peak Subdivision. Turn right onto Plen Mar Drive and proceed through the subdivision for approximately one mile. Turn left onto Terry Drive; follow the signs to the start.

Jefferson Memorial Forest (Horine)
     From downtown, take I-65 S to Gene Snyder (I-265). Merge onto Gene Snyder/KY-841W via exit 125. Take the National Turnpike exit (Exit 8) toward Fairdale. Turn left onto National Turnpike. Turn right onto Fairdale Rd. Turn right onto W Manslick Rd. Turn left onto Mitchell Hill Rd. Turn left onto Holsclaw Hill Rd. Turn right into entrance for Horine section of Jefferson Memorial Forest and follow signs to the start. (Mapquest the following address: 12302 Holsclaw Hill Rd Fairdale, KY 40118)

Iroquois Park
     In Louisville, take the Watterson Expressway (I-264) West from I-65. Take Taylor Blvd. (exit 9) South and go about 3 miles. The entrance to the park is on the right. We usually use a shelter on a hill near the entrance for registrations. Other locations used are by the horse stables and at the top of the hill.

McNeely Lake Park
     From I-65 in Louisville, go East onto the Gene Snyder Expressway (I-265). Take Smyrna Road (Exit 14) South. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Beulah Church Rd. The park is about one mile on the right.

Mount Saint Francis
     From Louisville, take I-64 W across the Sherman Minton bridge into Indiana. Take I-64 up through The Cut and exit onto Hwy 150 (Exit 119 toward Greenville). At the third light, take a left and enter Mount Saint Fancis (Paoli Pike will be on your right at the light). Follow signs to the start.

Otter Creek Park
     From Louisville, go South on Dixie Hwy (31W) past West Point and up the hill into Muldraugh. Take the first right in Muldraugh onto Hwy 1638. The park entrance is on the right just past the bridge. Look for signs to direct you to the starting line.

Story, IN
     From Louisville, take I-65 North for about an hour. At Exit 68 (Columbus), take Hwy 46 West and go 13 miles. Just past Gnaw Bone, turn Left onto Hwy 135 and head South. Follow this about 10 miles into Story. We have used 2 different locations as a starting point, so look for a sign in Story. There are other ways to get to Story, they are all an adventure. Consult a map.

NOTE: There are no facilities at Story, so make a pit stop on your way to the meet.

Tom Wallace Lake Park
     This park is in the Jefferson County Forest just south of Fairdale. Take National Turnpike (exit 8) and go South. Go one mile and turn Right onto Fairdale Rd. Go about 1 mile where the road ends. Take a Right and in immediate Left onto Mitchell Hill Rd. Follow this road a little over one mile and you will see the Jefferson County Forest Welcome Center on the Left. The park entrance is on the Right; just across from the Welcome Center. Look for signe to the registration area.

Wyandotte Woods and Harrison-Crawford SF
     Take I-64 West to Corydon Exit #105. Go south about 1.7 miles to Hwy 62. Go west on 62 approximately 7 miles to Hwy 462. Go south on 462 and you will shortly arrive at the park entrance. Look for signs to direct you to the starting line.
